is a simple and cost effective way of life, not just the use of a word.
Arm Strong Environmental certification is a verifiable statement that a community actually lives GREEN.
Requirements
Recycle
A minimum of 50% residential participation
Office, Clubhouse and Maintenance participation
Centralized collection of highly toxic, often discarded items
such as CFLs, ink cartridges, batteries, cell phones
A minimum of two TONs recycled per year for each 100 units
Reduce
Implement a conservation strategy - Electric, Water, Gas
Regular communications with residents promoting sound GREEN
practices
Reuse
Promote donation of no longer wanted furniture, clothing and electronics
Office / Clubhouse & Maintenance must pursue post consumer recycled supplies
- Educate residents about post consumer recycled items
Performance
ASE GREEN certification can only be obtained by providing written documentation of the
above to certification@armstrongenv.com.
